- This project is setting up an obligatory European image archiving system, called expert FADO (‘False and authentic documents online’). The system is required for validating, storing and exchanging information – digitally and within short delays – which the EU Member States possess in relation to genuine and false documents. In 2007, two additional subsystems were added: ‘Intranet FADO’ (iFADO) and ‘Public registry of authentic documents online’ (PRADO). The project activities range from technical analysis to end user helpdesk.
