Project description
This project is setting up an obligatory European image archiving system, called expert FADO (‘False and authentic documents online’). The system is required for validating, storing and exchanging information – digitally and within short delays – which the EU Member States possess in relation to genuine and false documents. In 2007, two additional subsystems were added: ‘Intranet FADO’ (iFADO) and ‘Public registry of authentic documents online’ (PRADO). The project activities range from technical analysis to end user helpdesk.
