Ed Cropper BSc, MBA

Ed Cropper has a Computer Science degree and MBA from Roosevelt University, Chicago. He worked with neurologists developing databases of patients’ clinical data with neuro-ophthalmology maladies such as multiple sclerosis, and expanded his studies creating a database for the investigation of patients suffering cerebral haemorrhage.

Ed developed the physical and logical data model for the NASA/JPL national airspace weather database used primarily for all traffic entering and leaving US airspace. This was later developed onto a large array of networked mainframe computers performing real-time analysis of a 300GB text database of national security messages, which evolved worldwide from diplomatic, technical, and other sources. He continued research on Artificial Intelligence at UCLA, Stanford and Intel Scientific and in 1987, joined CRI, Copenhagen.

Subsequently, he worked for Eurostat, developing on-line trade statistics data enabling misreported trades to be traced and spearheaded an effort with Erin A/S in Luxembourg to acquire a multi-year competitive intelligence project from the EU’s Directorate Enterprise.
