Dr Chloé Kim was Director of Mergers and Acquisitions of Groupe Galeries Lafayette and CEO of Cetelem Korea in the BNP Paribas Group. She has extensive business experience in France, USA, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Thailand, responsible for seeking, screening and analysing potential acquisition targets. This involved analyses of country, credit, counterparty, and legal risks; managing international projects, strategic alliances, joint ventures, and Greenfield start-ups.
Previously in New York, she was responsible for production, marketing and purchasing millions of dollars of diamonds and gems from USA, Belgium, Israel, South Africa, India, and Colombia when with Fabrikant AM-Gold Products Inc.
Her doctoral dissertation was a three-year in-depth research of 655 hostile takeovers.
Chloé works closely with Prof Rogers on business and corporate finance consultancy in Europe, Africa, the Middle and Far East. She is also an associate professor with the International School of Management (Paris, New York, Shanghai, Tokyo).
